Governments, and corporations, are spending billions to mislead, misinform, corrode, corrupt and manipulate their respective audeineces and consumers. There are people across the globe using technology tools, human networks and strategies to try and counter these activities. Take an interest in your governments, demand accountability, choose who you will do business with. Demand that enterprises such as banks, and large powerful corporations, be good citizens rather than self serving interested enterprises. Challenge the media, the public relations and spin doctors, use networks, tools, technology and interests to challenge them, using their techniques. Eschew the current leaders of your political parties if they do not measure up to performance and expectation. In Australia the two political parties, labor and liberal, have manipulated and corrupted the democracy and processes to their own ends. It is time that they knew that wew are aware of this. Consign them to the dust bin of a bygone era. We need a new political party in Australia and more independents in our parliaments.
